Last year I had the privilege of traveling to the beautiful city of Prague to watch my first-ever Gladiator Games, which is the biggest FMX show of it's kind in the country of Czech Republic. Dubbed "The oldest FMX event in Europe," Gladiator Games is in its eleventh year of existence and getting more popular year-by-year. Like most FMX events these days, the Gladiator Games utilizes a choreographed exhibition format that allows the riders to perform at their highest level without having the high-pressure atmosphere of a competition.
This year, 16 of the world's best riders came together to put on one of the best FMX shows the Eastern hemisphere has seen in 2010. Riders included Nate Adams, Dany Torres, Jeremy Stenberg, Wiley Fulmer, Dustin Miller, Reagan Sieg, Morgan Carlson, Jeff Fehr, Keith Sayers, Chuck Carothers, Daice Suzuki, Sean Neilson and more. Highlights of this year's Games include a Best Trick contest (won by Nate Adams and his trusty 360 nac), a Torres vs. Adams head-to-head competition (won by Torres), and a full-on rap performance by Adams, AKA MC Patchy.
